Hawk Hunter
The Hawk Hunter longbow is available in four bow lengths 60″, 62″, 64″ and 66″ catering for draw lengths of up to 27″ in the shortest bow and 30″ in the longest 66″ length. These bows are of moderate deflex reflex construction but have the all-out performance of Hybrid bows but from a conventional design. Long limbs and short riser enable the bow to have relatively short overall length yet draw smoothly and store energy well.
GL limb construction, unique to all Border longbows gives these, relatively long working limbs, a very low mass maximising the speed output from these bows. The vertical stability the difficulty to move the nocking point up or down in line with the bow length is exceptionally high and a vital attribute to shooting accuracy.
The Hawk Hunter, designed as a hunting bow, fast, stable, light in the hand and smooth with exceptionally low hand shock. The negligible hand shock zero as described by many is again a result of low limb mass.
