CV5 — Our Middle Smoothness Limb
The CV5 is a balanced, “super recurve” limb designed for field and target archers. It sits mid-way on our 1-10 smoothness scale, just below actual letoff (10). It offers a smooth draw with about 1 lb of weight gain per inch at the back of the draw.
Performance Highlights:
Stores more energy than conventional limbs (1.1 ft-lbs per pound held vs. 0.92 for traditional limbs).
Produces faster arrow speeds than the CV2, which already outperforms competitors.
Solid vertical stability at full and half-draw, ideal for precise shooting and hunting.
Design & Construction:
Made with our in-house carbon laminate, with no glass fiber, making it lightweight and dynamic.
Easy to set up, suitable for finger shooting (mediterranean or 3 under) and small crawl string walking.
Excels at shooting accurately at the target or hunting situations.
Specifications:
Brace height: 7–7.5 inches
String length: About 1 inch shorter than the bow’s length (varies slightly).
Summary:
The CV5 offers excellent speed, energy, and stability, making it a top choice for serious shooters who want powerful performance without the extreme smoothness of larger limbs. It’s easy to use and highly effective for various shooting styles.
